Creator David Jenkins’ (“People of Earth“) workplace comedy finds the hilarity in the mundane, not the adventure. Above all else, it’s the story of a very charming anti-hero, Stede Bonnet (Rhys Darby). Based on a real figure from history, Bonnet flees from his wife and kids to live out his dream as a pirate.
