‘The Bikeriders’ Trailer: Austin Butler Revs His Engine in Jeff Nichols’ Motorcycle Gang Drama

Austin Butler has gone from being a Hounddog to a moto-hog in Jeff Nichols’ “The Bikeriders.”The “Elvis” Oscar nominee leads the 1960s-set period piece that follows the rise of a fictional Midwestern motorcycle club.

Jodie Comer, Tom Hardy, Michael Shannon, Boyd Holbrook, and Norman Reedus also star in the 20th Century Studios release, marking Nichols’ first film since 2016’s “Midnight Special.”The official synopsis reads: Inspired by Danny Lyon’s iconic book of photography, “The Bikeriders” immerses you in the look, feel, and sounds of the bare-knuckled, grease-covered subculture of ’60s motorcycle riders.
