Mike Flanagan is getting spooky season started with the haunting “The Fall of the House of Usher” Netflix limited series, inspired by the works of Edgar Allan Poe.“The Haunting of Hill House” and “Midnight Mass” creator Flanagan acts as showrunner and directs four out of the eight episodes; Michael Fimognari helms the other half.Per the official synopsis, ruthless siblings Roderick (Bruce Greenwood) and Madeline Usher (Mary McDonnell) have built Fortunato Pharmaceuticals into an empire of wealth, privilege, and power.
