Jason Blum, and his Blumhouse Productions, is one of the most interesting stories in Hollywood.
Starting out by producing micro-budget horror a decade ago (which seems to be all the rage nowadays), Blumhouse Productions has started to broaden its horizons, including films that don’t necessarily fit in that typical horror movie mold, such as last year’s “Sleight.”With its new film, “Upgrade,” we see that Blumhouse is moving into the new “John Wick” genre of action film.
