‘Watchmen’ Review: Episode 8 Is a Beautiful Blue Valentine to the Human Condition

From keeping Sister Night (Regina King) grounded in Angela Abar’s perspective to watching a caped crusader (Jeremy Irons) rip one in the middle of his own trial, Damon Lindelof’s adaptation is intent on demystifying the mythical attachment we have to men and women wearing masks.

They’re just people, people are flawed, so you have to look behind the mask to see what’s really going on.

And yet no one person is just anything.
