Following the full Harvest Moon last night, Blu-ray.com announced that Joe Dante’s 1981 lycanthropic classic, “The Howling,” will not only be restored in glorious 4K but also hit theaters this Halloween season to celebrate the film’s 40th anniversary. Rialto Pictures will introduce the new 4K restoration theatrically across the country on October 20, 2021.
