Animation is having its moment, after the Oscar win of Guillermo Del Toro’s Pinocchio last year and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse currently, breaking box office records, animation is getting its rightful attention.
In a similar vein, Portland-based Laika Studio that’s given us features like Coraline, and Kubo And The Two Strings is gearing up for its next stop-motion animated feature Wildwood.
While the feature is long in making the studio’s CEO and director Travis Knight confirmed to Empire Magazine that the film will finally debut on the big screens sometime in 2025.
