On August 7, 2008, I casually pitched and proposed a spin-off film idea in a blog article titled, The Brief Cameo That Begat An Entire Film: Our Take ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’, back in the day when I regularly just blathered about random things rather than strictly wrote news.
